As we are travelling in monsoon we must carry raincoat and umbrella , some warm clothes and shoes and most important insect repellent for mahabaleshwar.

First we have decided to go mahableshwar. Travelling for hours we were in our destination. After freshening up and having breakfast we went to 

Attractions in Mahableshwar 

1.Venna Lake 

Venna lake is one of the most popular tourist spots in mahabaleshwar.The serene waters of the lake, surrounded by dense greenery ,make it perfect spot for boating.whether you choose to row yourself or hire a boatmen.The experience is sure to be relaxing .

2.Mapro Garden 

Mapro garden is not just a garden, it's a celebration of strawberries! Visit during the strawberry festival where we get strawberry based products and strawberry themed games.

Treats and souvenirs : Don't leave without trying the famous strawberry with cream or picking up some delicious jams, syrups and more.

3.Lingmala waterfall

It is best viewing point . The waterfall makes us feel so relaxed . For best view we should trek for an hour.

Street Food you must Try

The famous food in Maharashtra which is vadapav and misal pav .It was so good . Vadapav is deeply rooted in Maharashtra 's culinary culture .You can also try Puran poli,Pav bhaji and Bhakri ,Batata Vada with chutney.

Another day we went to 

KHANDALA 

1.Reversing station 

A popular viewpoint also known as Sunset point near Rajmachi garden . It's particularly famous for its views during monsoon season.

2.Visapur Fort

A majestic fort popular for trekking and history buffs .It was good but trekking is difficult as we went in monsoon season.But when we reach after trekking to the Fort it feels like we won the race of trekking. 

Shopping 

Town Bazaar is famous for shopping. Consider purchasing items like kolhapuri chappals,paithani sarees .

Food items like Bhakarwadi and petha.

 Overall Experience 

Our mahableshwar and khandala trip was refreshing escape! We enjoyed the cool mountain air, stunning viewpoints and lush greenery in both places . From the delicious strawberries in mahableshwar to the misty valleys of khandala,it was memorable experience filled with natural beauty and peaceful moments.Definitely feeling recharged after this lovely getaway!
